The name Lucifer was chosen to represent the magnificent iridescent light of the gorget of this bird. He's rare in the USA, and can be seen mainly at Ash Canyon B&B, Hereford Az. There is a day-use fee, extra fee for photographers, and rules for photographers. I went in the spring.
