The owl had just one job

Taken in the Mayan Riviera at an awesome little beach.
This dock had a really neat red color paint, and with the pretty teal Caribbean water, I thought it would be a neat shot.
Got close to the dock, and a seagull landed on the owl. The owl is there to keep the seagulls away (from pooping on the dock). Seems to be working pretty well.
