Capturing the landscape at Gross Morne National Park with my roommate's (now partner) Nikon D3100 was my introduction to photography as my primary art form. I was stuck in an emotionally abusive relationship just years prior, and I find that this image captures my emotional state at the time: a sense of calm after a storm.
