Alpine twilight

A photo I took last year November while at Helm Creek, Garibaldi. I started my hike at 12pm and made it to my campsite at around 3pm. After having unpacked my tent and bag I decided to set out to the main lake, which was another 4-5km away. As the sun and the temperature began to drop, I witnessed a once blue sky shift between orange, red, yellow, and eventually purple. I was now in a bare environment with harsh winds constantly hitting my body. I managed to find some shelter from the elements behind a set of small shrubs and capture this shot.

I hope this edit captures a bit of the magic I saw that day.
