Land of Layers

The beautiful layers of the Icelandic highlands. Captured during my trip to this fantastic country back in August.
The air in the distance was filled with small sand particles because of a sandstorm that had raged earlier that day. Our goal was to capture the golden light during the golden hour and the interaction between the light and the air with the sand particles. We were blessed with a remarkable and beautiful sight. The light created some gorgeous layers! A moment to remember!
