Fjaðrárgljúfur

On the southcoast of Iceland you will find this incredible narrow canyon called Fjaðrárgljúfur. This place is fantastic! It looks like if God took a huge bread knife and made a long cut through the surface of our earth! It’s of course probably made of the volcanic eruptions on Iceland many years ago.
It’s the first time I walked up along the edge of the canyon to this beautiful vantage point. The sun was quite low and really harsh, so during my post process of this photo I switched out the sky.
