The Roman amphitheatre is probably one of the oldest landmarks in Cagliari. It has been standing on the hillside looking at the sunset above the bay for almost 2 millenniums.. To get a proper picture of its majestic size its quite tough as it is still closed to the public, but I think this attempt deserves a share
