A rare hurricane-like storm has lashed western Greece, in September 2020. Storm Ianos was described as a "medicane" (Mediterranean hurricane), a phenomenon that first appeared in Greece in 1995. Picture was taken during sunset, just a few hours later at Kourouta beach, Peloponnese, a few kilometres NW from Ancient Olympia.
