Eternity-Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain

This backlit image was shot from my balcony using a Nikon F camera with a Nikkor AI 200mm f/4 lens on Kodacolor 400 film. It was subsequently printed on a highly textured paper, which was then side-lit and rephotographed on Ektachrome 200 to give it this painterly look. I've often thought that a nice way to spend eternity would be walking on the beach into an eternal sunset, with someone you love.
