Tommy was married two days ago and we started off the wedding day at a friend's bar in downtown Tucson. There was just a touch of ambient light indirectly coming from the windows at the front of the bar. I used a yongnuo 560iv with 3 MagMod grids stacked on top of each other for a very deliberate spotlight affect. The flash was placed camera right just out of frame.
Nikon D750 with Sigma 24 1.4 art lens. Settings were 1/200th, ISO 160, f2.8. Flash was set around 1/8th power as the grids cut the power efficiency of the flash the more you stack them.

The donut place! I was looking for it when I was there the other day. I need some donuts.
Love that spot light look on the groom. Perhaps you can show me that lighting trick over some whisky, my treat.
