This is the Iao Valley in Maui looking at the Iao Needle (kuka'emoku). The cool thing about this was in a very "Hawaiin" way, the parks staff accidentally forgot to lock the entrance. I showed up an hour early and was able to get in before any other patrons and it gave me access to get a little off path to get this shot. Shot on Nikon D800e with a 24mm tilt shift. Added a 10 stop lee ND filter for the water and the sky. Blending in the trees for another none ND filter shot to stop movement.
