I was visiting Casablanca, across the harbour from Old Havana, when I came across this woman. She was happy to sit on the bench for me to photograph her. I didn't want to insult her with an offer of money, but I asked what she would like. She asked me immediately if I had a pen. Fortune smiled. I did. She was quite pleased to accept it.
