I worked with Laura at an ABC-FOX television affiliate in Bangor, Maine. We have both since moved on to other jobs since then, but at the time she was the morning news anchor and field reporter for two years. Honestly, it wasn't too difficult to get a great shot with Laura. She loved the camera, and the camera loved her. She was a natural. I was put in charge of taking photos of all the news talent for marketing and promotional purposes, so when Laura asked if I would take some personal time and shoot her in some Maine fall scenes, I just couldn't say no. One area we visited was along the bank on the Penobscot River. It turned overcast about mid-afternoon, and was a bit on the breezy side. I used a Nikon D7100, 50mm, f/2.8, ISO-200, 1/640s.
