This shot was totally unplanned, I was actually on my way to the beach to shoot some waves, when I realized the sun was setting perfectly over this lake near my house. I got out, dashed through a few feet of snow nearly falling headfirst into the frozen lake and fired off a bunch of shots, I had maybe 60 seconds before the sun had dipped down behind the buildings.
It just goes to show you that you never know when that perfect shot will present itself, and the window to capture it can be so small. Get out and shoot!
Shot on a Canon 5D3 with a Sigma 24-35mm F2 Art @24mm and f4.
