This silo is lucky it is abandoned and far out from the nearest city. The dark sky there brings out a vibrant Milky Way! Brendon and I discovered this beauty when scouting a location miles away and we could see the vertical shape far off in the distance. When I finally got out to this silo in a solo photog adventure it quickly became one of my favorite locations for easy access and beautiful Milky Way.
Other than light painting and cloning out telephone poles and wires, this image required very little work to make it sing. What luck to live so close to such a feature and that it would be in dark skies!
