Hoodoo City is a sweet little gem in Zion National Park. What this picture doesn't bring justice to is the really interesting terrain surrounding this hoodoo.
The area is all on top of a giant rock outcropping in the middle of forested land at the north western tip of Zion National Park just passed Kolob Terrace Road. The ground is flaky layers of sandstone widespread to the size of a football field. An easy less than a mile hike from the road and suddenly you are in a terrain as foreign as any other planet would be. Just an awesome place to stay the night!
