Sometimes the first frame is the best, meant to be a flash test this became the winning image of a Grad Portrait session for a dear friend's daughter. Taken on a stunning day in late June I had to place the subjects in deep shade to keep them cool. This Image was lit with a single Canon speedlight in a large Photek softlighter to camera right. The kid in the background is already famous.
