Lake Wanaka

The final touch, the image maker. I sat on a beautiful image of Lake Wanaka for weeks and weeks, having a break from it and staring at it in Photoshop (PS) making no changes at all.

This seven shot panoramic came together perfectly but after processing the file, making fine adjustments in PS I asked my question 'is this image complete?' No matter how much I tried to convince myself it was, the answer was always no!

Rolling my eyes over the image I went right back to the lakes edge, that cold, wet winter morning. It came to me, I added a light blue hue to the image, an attempt to give the image the true perception of that winter "sun" rise.

One more time I asked myself that question, 'is this image complete?' 100%
