Hiking Lake O'Hara should be on everyone's bucket list. The trails reward you with breathtaking views of turquoise lakes and lush forest, and it feels like your own little piece of heaven since public access is restricted. They have shuttles running for campers and hikers but only twice a day and spots are limited. If you're up for it and can't get on the shuttle, you can always hike the 11km in, which is exactly what we did. After arriving at the lake and a quick snack, we continued our trek up to the Opabin Plateau. Trust me when I say you won't be thinking about the 11km once your greeted with this view. Worth every step.
