Reeds under Eagle's Nest

Taken during the same morning as my shot: "Upper Lake Sunrise". The little bunch of reeds seemed to be out all on their own, waiting for their moment to shine. Oh man, what a morning that was. Relatively speaking, it's not hard to get up often before a sunrise and hike to a location. What's hard is to keep doing it until you get a decent shot. The amount of times I get up in the morning in Ireland only to be greeted rain and just unfavorable conditions in general, can be really disheartening. Some might even call it the definition of madness! But, it's mornings like this that make it all worth while and reinforces what you know deep down; persistence and hard word pays off in the end.
