I love capturing motion in waves. It's quite a fun process and every shot is unique. I place the setting sun off to the edge because I wanted the viewer to interpret the change from daylight to twilight in one image instead of a fancy composite. The amber from the sunset contrasted nicely with the cool tones at the opposite end of the beach. Also, when viewing the image full-screen, the waves appear to be rising ever so slightly. This was a complete fluke, by the way. A nice bit of serendipity to end my day.
A lot of exciting movement, that really tells the story of a windy day at the ocean. The un-sharp impression helps show the movement.
Thanks for the feedback, Leif!
