Its getting to that time of year where stores are carrying pumpkin pie. That means I'm getting strange looks when I buy 5 to make sure i get a good slice cut for this shot.
Spontaneous trip to the store to find plates and napkins to help style the shot. Throw it all on top of some repurposed fence post from the past hurricane and this is what I got.
Shot on sony A7RII with 90mm macro at f8, 1/60, ISO 100. Focused stack for sharpness and lit with a single light camera right in softbox and bounce card camera left coming in from behind the pie.
