I had been on a shooting hiatus for a while and decided to take a drive to a favourite spot to see what might happen. When I got there the clouds will spars and it didn't look like the low clouds were going to light up. I set up anyways and just waited, about 40 minutes after sunrise started the sun just snuck between the peaks and kissed the clouds.
