Aspens

I spent one Autumn day driving around the Colorado Rockies. It was my first time being in the Rockies and seeing Aspen trees in the fall. For some odd reason, the only lens I had on me was my Rokkinon 14mm. It's a fine lens for wide shots, but up in the Rockies, I wasn't satisfied with what I was capturing. It made everything seem far away. So I was forced to experiment. For this shot, I ended up laying on the forest floor, and pointing the camera straight up against a tree. This was the result, and I'm very pleased!
