Seascape treasures...

What is it about water that it makes you feel so small, yet so big at the same time?

Staring at the sea, running on the shore – you are struck by the realization that you are only but a drop in the ocean.

But, then, as you touch the sea, you find that those drops are what make the ocean be. You let the water slip through your fingers, back to where it came from, but still feel that it belongs to you… That you belong to it…

And it does… And you do… Life first arose from the sea. The level of the ocean depends on the drops. It depends on you.

What is it about water that it makes you feel so small, yet so big at the same time? It’s the humble realization that the ocean is big enough to hold everything anyone could ever feel combined with the extraordinary awareness that it would be just a bit smaller without holding what you felt at this very moment.
