This image of Bow Fiddle Rock was shot in Portknockie, a small fishing village NE Scotland. The rock formation is spectacular and is an attractive subject for those interested in photography. The sun rising behind the rock provides a great opportunity for stunning pictures. My idea for the photo was to use dynamic waves as an element that draws a viewer towards a main point of interest. I took many exposures because each wave was different, and I also tried different shutter speeds, a small change in shutter speed can have a huge impact on the result.
