When I first saw this vodka bottle I immediately got inspired by it. It's so refreshing to see something different, something creative on the shelves of the grocery stores.
This happened just about the same day when I accidentally bumped into an article on Fstoppers featuring this super talented guy, Brian Rodgers Jr. who is a master of product photography. Since then I was itching to shoot it, although I have only done portraits professionally before. I actually refused to shoot products before because it seemed so comlicated to me.
For this photo I've used a Canon 5D Mk IV and a Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens to get as much detail as possible. I took several shots (on a tripod) with different exposures and lighting.
The final image is a composite of 7 different photos, the shoot took me about 1 hour incl. setup and breakdown, the editing about 5 hours.
But I would do it over again, I think it was worth the time.
This is beautiful!!!
Gorgeous.
nice work
I love the color and the wave movement!
