Supercharged Grid - Part II

The set was made using a 1:12 scale model of a Ninja H2R, styrofoam, black chart paper, green transparent glass paper and a lot of patience. This was a bit tricky and time consuming to implement because there were a lot of factors to consider. For example, thermocol melts if we use glue on it. In order to overcome that, I had to tape the points of contact with cellotape. I then applied instant glue on the cellotape, which prevented the thermocol from disintegrating.

Creating custom sets and implementing fun shoots like these keeps me calm and north of insanity in a weird but satisfying way. It also helps to keep the creative juices flowing.

Fun Fact : The refracted light on the base is a happy coincidence. When I was planning this one, I was only concentrating on the grid pattern at the back. When I added a light source from behind, the light got refracted from the slits created the beautiful punchy pattern on the base.
