Yereye is among several people who have been recently displaced by seasonal flooding in their village near Kalafo, Ethiopia.
In recent years, recalls her village being flooded and displaced multiple times, with each time having to return to the same area until water levels go down and they can return to rebuild their homes. Yereye also has no hands, having lost them as a child when she was playing with an unexploded bomb she found as a child.
