There’s something satisfying about the sound of walking on ice with crampons on! This morning back in February 2018 was perfect, the crisp winter scene at one of the Norwegian fjords in Lofoten was beautifully lidded by the rising sun. The mountain peaks were painted in a gorgeous red glow which was a perfect match with the frozen fjord. It took a while to find a fitting composition but some cracks in the ice made a strong leading line up to the mountains and I decided to stick with it before the glow from the sunrise would disappear from the peaks.
