I find it quite funny to walk around trying out different compositions, in this case I found a more abstract approach compared to my usual photos with strong leading lines.
During the winter months in Lofoten you have some great opportunities to use the ice along the fjords as foreground elements, usually you would use a long crack in the ice but I really liked the small puzzle patterns in the ice as you see in the photo.
This morning was a pure joy! The Lofoten archipelago in Northern Norway keeps surprising me!
