A grand view of a glacier river delta in Iceland. We spent a full morning shooting here with our drones hoovering above the landscape. A beautiful location and I love how the stream leads into the mountains.
My friend Kai and I were actually scouting the area the night before and while doing so we were surprised by two young Icelandic guys. Apparently they were out scouting for the Pink-footed Goose. It sounded a bit ridiculous. They were trying to locate these birds before the yearly hunting season. We had a nice chat and they went on with their search.
That is quite epic looking.
Thanks :-)
World class!
The geologic term for this landform is Braided Streams. Beautiful image.
