Flying above Iceland with a drone is a brand new experience for me. Quite fun but also a bit challenging. It’s a completely different way to find perspectives and composing your photo. Then you have the time limit in your mind all the time, it made me rush quite a bit. I guess it takes some time to get used to it.
This is a capture from the south coast of Iceland. Here the river meets the black sanded beach and the river water floats out into the ocean. An abstract approach to this beautiful spot.

Great job, Mikkel! Yes, Iceland does seem to lend itself to aerial abstracts. Long before it became a photographers' mecca, and long before drones, Klaus Francke did some books of aerials of Iceland, which I treasure still.
