Ghost Town

Sunrise at the abandoned town of Kolmanskop in the southern part of Namibia. Kolmanskop was a mining town back in the old days but at one point people left the place and the desert moved in. It’s quite interesting to walk among the old ruins covered by sand and explore all the different buildings. This is not a top notch composition but I think the history behind the photo and place is more important! I’m quite satisfied with the elements in the photo, the sand, the ruin and the old brick wall. Spiced up with a gorgeous sunrise!
