Rather than take the taxing trek up into the craggy peaks of Torres Del Paine with my much younger travel buddies, I elected to stay behind and climb a much smaller hill to get some shots across Lake Pehoe. The high alpine flora and dramatic light of the coming storm made me glad I did, especially when a Condor started soaring just above my head.

Hi David. Yes I’ve called Prince Rupert home for the last 35 years. I lived on the west coast of Gwaii Haanas in Haida Gwaii for a few years prior to that. We spend a lot of time in the Smithers area fly fishing and documenting it with still photography and short films. Let me know when you make your next trip!
