Lake Pehoe ... Patagonia

Rather than take the taxing trek up into the craggy peaks of Torres Del Paine with my much younger travel buddies, I elected to stay behind and climb a much smaller hill to get some shots across Lake Pehoe. The high alpine flora and dramatic light of the coming storm made me glad I did, especially when a Condor started soaring just above my head.

Outstanding depth, colour, composition and flow.

Thanks Phil. I see you are in Prince Rupert ? I may be back to BC shortly. Would love to get up North. I have a mate in Smithers.

Hi David. Yes I’ve called Prince Rupert home for the last 35 years. I lived on the west coast of Gwaii Haanas in Haida Gwaii for a few years prior to that. We spend a lot of time in the Smithers area fly fishing and documenting it with still photography and short films. Let me know when you make your next trip!

I definitely will Phil. Would love to take some time and do some photography up there.
