This was a weird idea I had a few year ago, involving covering myself in something sticky and then feathering myself as the camera went off. My wife was out of town, so she couldn't stop me from killing one of her precious Pottery Barn piillows that had those awesome big feathers in them. That also meant that I had to push the shutter myself, hence my left hand being out of the frame with the remote trigger.
I tried using a fan and a bunch of feathers to hit me, but that didn't work. I ended up picking up the feathers off of the floor and throwing them in the air, then quickly posing for the shot.
The cleanup on this was ridiculous. You have no idea how many feathers are in a pillow until you remove them. I found feathers for years after this shoot!
