The return of Orion

It had been cloudy all week in Washington except for this one night. Upon walking towards this scene, I was greeted to the sight of Orion rising over my favorite tree in the perfect position as predicted. There is no better feeling when everything works out as planned. Since it was only September, I had to capture this in the early morning hour at 4 am. There was also a waning gibbous moon up that lit up the landscape quite well. Single exposure with Nikon D610 and Rokinon 14mm at 10 seconds, F/2.8, ISO 2000.
