What lies ahead

This was quite the scene to witness and capture of a pathway leading to Big Four Mountain in Washington and our Milky Way galaxy core rising directly above. Before photography, I had no idea views like this between the earth and galaxy even existed. Living in light polluted cities my whole life, I never got a good glimpse of a truly starry sky until 2 years ago when I was 22. Ever since I have been hooked on capturing these beautiful views of the night while we still can. Light pollution has become a global issue and now new worries about Starlink satellites are threatening our view of the night sky. 3 focus stacked exposures for the landscape at 4 minutes each, F/2.8, ISO 1250 blended with a single exposure of the sky at 20 seconds, F/2.8, ISO 6400. (All shot back to back without moving the camera/tripod)
