Meet Vito, as he likes to be called by his last name exclusively. Growing up in The Bronx, then relocating to the country 45 years ago to escape the city. Mr. Vito has lived a varied life as a handyman, caretaker, store owner and carpenter. Street smart and humble, always willing to lend a hand on any task or project you have around the house. ...Convincing him to let me snap a quick portrait took a little convincing, but he agreed. Feeling a tad awkward with 1 small softbox, I just had him sit while we chat for a bit, camera on tripod, I just casually reached over and popped a few frames without getting behind the camera and then told him that was it! He was unharmed and may just sit again. Great guy!
