George

The vulnerable side of George, a leather artisan I had the opportunity to photograph. At the end of the day, a bit weary George let go of the person he was portraying before the lens to reveal a slightly more frail version of himself. George's leather craftsmanship are highly sought after but now in his 70s, he is able to pick and choose which project he'll accept. I have been fortunate to to have custom work done by George. After our consultation was complete, I asked if he'd be ok with a quick session "Only if you get me on the cover of GQ!" was his reply. -grin- GQ, you can reach George through me and I await your call.
