One of your best, Alan, and that's saying something. Very powerful, in all its simplicity. The subtlest details of the boy's pose and direction he's looking matter a great deal here, and they convey the oblvion in the title, as well as an adult's sense of the kid's vulnerability for me, as he seems to be so totally absorbed in his exploration. The subtle tones convey the misty warm atmosphere, and the composition is spot-on. Well done.
