Oblivious

A young boy wanders down a beach enveloped in sea fog, happily oblivious to the conditions that surround him.
A furtive glance asks a question only he can answer.

I really do like your style Alan because it,s a style all your own and so many of your images have the same quality about them...they say such a lot in such a simple and quiet way...brilliant and I,m a big fan 😁

Hey, thanks Tony. I really appreciate your generous comments - your encouragement I motivating.

For me the negative space, the isolated subject and the softness combine into a really excellent shot.

Thanks Mike, much appreciated.

One of your best, Alan, and that's saying something. Very powerful, in all its simplicity. The subtlest details of the boy's pose and direction he's looking matter a great deal here, and they convey the oblvion in the title, as well as an adult's sense of the kid's vulnerability for me, as he seems to be so totally absorbed in his exploration. The subtle tones convey the misty warm atmosphere, and the composition is spot-on. Well done.

Thanks Chris, your thoughtful analysis is appreciated as always.

Hi Alan. Extremely interesting storytelling. Very good composition with faded unidentifieble horizon.

Thanks Vijay!

This is one of those shots that deserves a great big wall with lots of negative space. Great work Alan.

Thanks Paul - much appreciated!

This is stunning, Alan

Thanks so much William.
With the sun filtering through incoming sea fog it would have been hard not to get a picture-worthy shot with such fantastic lighting.

I see echoes of my own responses in the response you just gave. You 100% earned this one.
