When I was approached to do this portrait the only creative direction I received was "I want to incorporate my brand colours to the shot" Knowing I had to work with blue and pink I decided to go with a pastel feel.
I lit this shot with 2 speedlites with a blue gel as the key light and the pink as a rim. I put the pink close enough to the background to achieve some spill which created the gradient look.
