Panoramic photography of the Milky Way in February at 50mm. No equatorial mounts are used. Images were taken with the aperture open to confirm the performance of the Z50mmf1.8. I am generally satisfied with the performance of this lens. Because astigmatism and chromatic aberration are well corrected, I feel that it is perfect for shooting stars. Openness is also sufficient for depiction. Perhaps it would have been better to shoot at another stop. I will do that next time.
