This is the third photo from my shoot with the Belgian Black Belts. Traditionally Judo is a solo sport, these women combined forces and started a team so they would get more exposure, get better sponsor deals and have a team feeling. I think this must be one of the first judo team pictures. I shot the athletes separately in front of a green screen and later combined the images in photoshop. I didn't quite know what setting to place them in at first so I visited some websites of my favorite photographers and finally found inspiration on Blair Bunting's amazing portfolio.
