This is an image of a green vine snake, a non-venomous snake found throughout India.
The snake was wrapped around a bush, with a portion of its body projecting outside. I wanted to highlight the shape of the snake. So, I illuminated the image by placing an external flash below the snake. With a bit of dodging and burning, I got this final image.
