Of 11 types of vultures, 7 are on the verge of extinction. The White-backed Vulture is unfortunately one of them. Sure, Hollywood gives them a bad rap, along with hyenas. But they are vital to cleansing the scene of a kill, basically cleaning up after everyone else and eliminating disease. There's some beauty in that.
