Hippo - Zambezi River

Roughly 6 people die globally each year from shark attacks. 2900 die from hippo attacks, yet we don't have Hippo Week. Needless to say, these are some badass vegetarians who fight for dominance all the time. At least, we saw all sorts of challenges around the watering hole.
Once again, I'm just fascinated by the power of these animals. Hippos can't swim, the gallop in the water... up to 30 mph! On land, they can hit 15 mph. A male hippo can reach almost 10,000 pounds.
