My friend and Makeup Artist and I brainstormed a concept that we wanted to play with. He rocked up at my studio with this amazing head-piece made from safety pins and I made the jacket just to add some edge into the image.
The pins led me to this lighting setup whereby I wanted our amazing model, Phumza to have a metallic look to her skin. I added some gelled lighting to tie in with the blue jacket, and there we go. This image was born.
