Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area is famous for its bald eagles, herons, egrets and cranes. But there’s more here than just birds. Sometimes there are landscapes. The area sits at the bottom of the Great Salt Lake basin, and on some cold, clear and windless mornings dense and tight fog banks will appear among the reeds. They form, drift and shift around until the sun pokes over the mountains, and soon they’re gone. Photo taken Oct 18, 2018 Posted here Nov 11, 2020
